Lake Products and Services Ltd. (LPS) was established in 2001 as part of our High-Value Agriculture "HVA" iniative.  The company is continuously developing a modern scientifically based plant extracts industry in Uganda. The company is one of the first private enterprises in East Africa to commercially produce and process locally grown, high-value botanicals.

Using the rich heritage of this part of Africa LPS provides farmers with new crop and agro-forestry opportunities. It also exports a range of sustainably grown natural products, which are either endangered or difficult to obtain in the wild. LPS, through its sister company in India, Nilgiri Botanical Plantations Company, can also access production facilities in Southern India giving MISA the unique position to supply botanicals from both sides of the Indian Ocean.
